First Annual Soul Train Awards 1987

I'm posting this video because so many of the stars that showed up, performed and presented at this First Annual Soul Train Awards which aired on March 23, 1987, have joined the ancestors. It is an amazing reminder of the rich legacy of Don Corneilus and the entertainment masterpiece he created that launched and enhanced the careers of so many artist in the music and entertainment industries. The quality isn't all that great but it's history none the less. None of the music in this video belongs to this channel and is subject to all copyright laws.
