Ducato motorhome or Iveco 2.5 Turbo Diesel engine. We want to disassemble or take apart the Bosch injectors and repair or re-mill and test the injector seat in our motorhome. What should the atomization, i.e. the spray pattern, look like? We also want to check the seat where the injector or injection nozzle is inserted (injector seat) and, if necessary, repair it, i.e., re-mill it with a hand mill. This is located in the cylinder head and may need minor repairs, as exhaust gases have escaped here due to damage and the high pressure in the cylinder's combustion chamber, or could escape again when the new injector is installed. We'll also cover the atomization jet with before and after images. Here, we'll show the images in incredible slow motion and then analyze the atomization images. We'll also check the jet pressure: at what pressure in bar does the injection nozzle or injector need to open? How can we check this? Is the newly assembled injection nozzle or injector dripping?
