The Harvard Human Flourishing Program hosts Inner Development Goals
The Harvard Human Flourishing Program hosts the Inner Development Goals and other guest speakers to discuss the importance of inner growth for sustainable development. After a welcome and opening remarks from Matthew Lee, Jan Artem Henriksson provides a 15-minute overview of the Inner Development Goals and then introduces guest speaker Haley Crim from the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Haley describes how the US Government's new climate literacy guide will include an inner dimension for the first time, and may feature the IDG Framework. Reflections follow from Donna Hicks, Associate at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University, Tony Bond, Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer of Great Place To Work, and Anna Throne-Holst, President of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce New York. Inner Development Goals founding board member and author, Tomas Bjorkman, then provides a summary of his seminal book, The Nordic Secret, before pioneering systems thinker, author and MIT lecturer Peter Senge provides the final remarks. Jan and Matt close the session with a Q&A and an appeal to the audience to respond to the IDG 'One Question Survey' in order to co-create the first truly global framework for inner development. 00:00 - Welcome and introduction to human flourishing - Matthew T.
