Modified 22LR ammo test 1
REMARKS and CONCLUSIONS,,,, The test of reprofiled/resized ammo did not quite go as expected. The ammo in its original form did not shoot as badly as expected from previous experience. That being said, both tested did show some improvement. The CCI Standard Velocity average group size for the factory ammo was .297,,, the modified average was .256 for an improvement of .041. Small but still an improvement. The improvement was more for the SK High Velocity Match. Factory average was .403 and the modified average was .233 for a difference of .170. The best single group size when to the CCI at .160 for the modified but the best overall group consistency went to the SK HVM at .250, .250, and .200 in the modified. More 25 yard testing coming next week.
