Motion in Sim Racing: How much do you ACTUALLY need to spend?

Hi everyone! I got to experience some of the most insane sim racing motion systems at the Sim Gaming Expo - rigs that cost anywhere from $15,000 to $175,000!! Honestly it's pretty crazy that you can spend that much on a racing simulator. But is it really needed? How much should you ACTUALLY spend to get the best experience for the budget that you have?
