Actress Mai Shiraishi attended the press conference in Tokyo on April 8th to announce her appointment as the new brand ambassador for the parasol brand "Ashiya Rosablanca." Rosablanca means "white rose" in French, and its flower meaning is "deep respect." When asked who she respects, she replied, "It's only my mother. When asked about the secret to maintaining her translucent, fair skin, she explained, "I sometimes wear sunscreen, but I don't like putting it on my face. I try to protect myself from the sun as much as possible with parasols, hats, and light jackets. I do apply sunscreen sometimes, but I try to wear minimal sun protection gear to avoid putting too much strain on my skin and prevent sunburn." She added that she wants to "take all necessary precautions against UV rays" in the coming seasons. Also, being born in the summer, when asked about her summer memories, she reminisced fondly, "When I was little, I used to go to my grandmother's house.
