While I love real tube amps, you sometimes just need to get the job done. I talk about how I record electric guitar directly into the audio interface in my home studio. I show you how I process the tracks and optimize them for Amp Sims or Reamping. For this production I'm using Amplitube Tonex from IK Multimedia. I record electric guitar in logic pro x but you can apply all of the techniques I demonstrate in this guitar recording and mixing tutorial in any DAW.
