The Transformation of BMO Field

Through precise planning and coordination, PCL and its valued partners recently reached a significant milestone for the second phase of the BMO Field expansion project with the erection of the south canopy roof. PCL senior project manager Neil Barrows explains how the culmination of two years of planning, design, fabrication, and construction to enhance the aging stadium within its existing structure will bring Toronto FC’s home on par with other premiere Major League Soccer venues, enhancing the fan and player experience by providing a louder, more energetic stadium, as the venue also prepares to welcome the Toronto Argonauts and other world-class events.
