Qilak Arrives at Shedd Aquarium
We are welcoming another addition to Shedd. We have a long history of responding in times of need, in fact, one more rescued male northern sea otter pup named Qilak(pronounced kee-lak) will be joining our sea otter population. Qilak comes to Shedd from @alaskasealifecenter where he was rehabilitated after being found on the western Kenai Peninsula in Alaska too young to be on his own and deemed non-releasable. Shedd is now home to six sea otters. Welcome to Shedd, Qilak!
