Whipping / Wrapping Hexagon (6 Sided) Cane / Bamboo Rods On V Notch Wrapping Jigs

My rod building tools are available here: https://5286af.myshopify.com/ All of my links (my store/social media/email information) are here: https://linkpop.com/5286af Wrapping (or whipping on the other side of the pond) bamboo rods isn't as straight forward as wrapping normal (round) fishing rods. I am uploading this video in hopes that it will help people see what is involved in wrapping a cane / bamboo fishing rod that is hexagon (six sided) shaped. The problem with wrapping hexagon rods on a normal wrapping jig with V shaped supports is that the flats of the rod don't turn freely against the flat sides of the rod blank supports. It is still pretty easy to do and I also found a trick that makes the hexagon shaped rods rotate even better. If you have any tips, please be sure to leave them in the comments below! I hope this helps someone out and good luck to everyone with your rod building.
