BG3 Honour mode builds: Hexblade (Wyll)

My Wyll build from my Honour Mode run. Against enemies without resistance to physical damage, this build can sometimes deal absolutely absurd amounts of damage over 100 damage in a single hit. Especially if you give him crit-focused gear… though most of mine ended up on Astarion instead. The setup is: Warlock 12 1. Warlock 1 Stats: STR 8 / DEX 14 / CON 16 / INT 8 / WIS 12 / CHA 16 Cantrips: Booming Blade, Eldritch Blast Subclass: The Hexblade Spells: Shield, Hellish Rebuke Skills: Arcana, History, and whatever else you prefer 2. Warlock 2 Spells: Wrathful Smite Eldritch Invocations: Agonising Blast, Fiendish Vigour 3. Warlock 3 Spells: Shadow Blade (the core spell of this build) Pact Boon: Pact of the Blade Yes, I know it overlaps a bit with Hexblade features, but it’s still the only way for Warlock to gain Extra Attack. Replace Spell: Wrathful Smite → Branding Smite 4. Warlock 4 Cantrips: Blade Ward Spells: Hold Person Replace Spell: Shield → Mirror Image Feat: Savage Attacker Since this build stacks many damage dice into single hits, maximizing rolls becomes extremely valuable. 5. Warlock 5 At this level you gain: Extra Attack through Pact of the Blade Spells: Counterspell Eldritch Invocation: Devil’s Sight Replace Spell: Hellish Rebuke → Hunger of Hadar 6. Warlock 6 Spells: Darkness or Misty Step if you want earlier mobility, though in that case you’ll probably want to replace it with Dimension Door at the next level 7. Warlock 7 Spells: Dimension Door Eldritch Invocation: Repelling Blast or Dreadful Word 8. Warlock 8 Spells: Staggering Smite Feat: +2 CHA or Alert 9. Warlock 9 Spells: Banishing Smite Eldritch Invocation: Minions of Chaos Replace Spell: Hold Person → Hold Monster 10. Warlock 10 Cantrips: Minor Illusion, True Strike or Mage Hand Spells: Cone of Cold 11. Warlock 11 Mystic Arcanum: Eyebite or Create Undead Spells: Blur or Greater Invisibility 12. Warlock 12 Spells: Armour of Agathys or basically any strong non-Concentration spell at this point, since by now you already have plenty of Concentration options. Eldritch Invocation: Lifedrinker Feat: Alert or +2 CHA
