My original plan was to paint the rims on this Triumph Bonneville T140V black as well as cleaning and polishing the spokes. I felt this would fit in more with my Desert Sled, Scrambler ambitions. However the rear wheel isn’t in as good condition as the front, so I knew I would have to rebuild it. So I have since decided to rebuild both wheels. I have already stripped the front wheel I have now bought a set of powder coated rims on a well known marketplace for a really great price and I have ordered stainless spokes and nipples, so that I can build the wheels. I have vapour blasted the hubs using a homemade vapour blast cabinet and then powder coated them black.
