5 CYLINDER MONSTER - The GOLVO - Best Runs Compilation

Best runs from my Volvo T5 powered MK3 Golf. It makes around 1000hp through a quaife sequential gearbox with awd. The Engine comes from a Volvo 850 T5R - 2.3l 5 cylinder Turbo, which is mated to a volvo / quaife sequential gearbox ( qke45z ) via a sachs race engineering triple plate clutch. The AWD system is VW/Audi Gen 1 haldex from an Audi S3 which is custom adapted to fit the volvo gearbox. All retrofitted into the Mk3 Golf. A 1000hp T5 Engine with a rev limit of over 9000 rpm was built by Joe Bristow at Fairfield Garage Louth in lincolnshire England. It consists of a Bristow spec sleeved engine block using Pauter Conrods and Wiseco pistons. Cylinder head is Custom - Ported with high lift camshafts and beehive valve springs. Both intake and exhaust manifolds are Bristow custom fabricated. The Turbocharger on the Golvo Engine is a Xona Rotor XR10569s running 3.2 bar of boost pressure (47psi) on E85 alcohol fuel.
