I made a skincare product and now I hate the industry (Dermatologist)

Usually same day replies, but life does get busy! ________________ I always felt that the skincare world was full of marketing fluff, misleading claims, and weak science as a dermatologist. But going through the process of making a skincare brand (and then killing it immediately) brought this into a sharper reality than ever before. Every industry can be accused of focusing on marketing above product quality. But in skincare, it feels especially problematic. This REALLY impacts people. If you have acne, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, dark spots, wrinkles -- you turn to these products BELIEVING that they must be making claims based in reality. In this video, I want to share with you some of what I learned, so that you can be prepared the next time you're considering buying a product. This isn't to say EVERY skincare product is a scam by the way. I know that people get real benefit from a lot of great brands and products and it makes a noticeable effect on their skin (it does the same for me!) Unfortunately the "signal to noise" ratio in skincare is atrocious. I wanted to release this before Black Friday/ Cyber Monday so people can shop wisely for products!
