Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to some important conditions before installation. ✅ Required Game Version: NGVO only supports the English Skyrim Special Edition version purchased through Steam. GOG version and different language versions are not supported. The game must be version 1.6.1170 and the full Anniversary Edition Upgrade content must be installed. ✅ Supported Windows Versions: Windows 10 or Windows 11 is required. LTSC, trimmed/light Windows versions, or modified operating system installations are not recommended. Windows version 21H2 or newer is required. 💾 Storage: Using an HDD or external hard drive is not recommended for NGVO. This will prevent the game version from changing and the mod list from being corrupted. 3️⃣ Completely uninstall Skyrim. Deleting it from Steam alone may not be enough; also clean the game folder and the Skyrim Special Edition folder in Documents/My Games. 4️⃣ Disable any programs that interfere with OneDrive and user folders. Such applications can cause problems with file paths and settings during installation. 5️⃣ Do not install Skyrim in Program Files. Do not verify the game files after this stage. 8️⃣ It is recommended to disable third-party antivirus software such as MalwareBytes, Webroot, or similar programs during installation. These programs may interfere with Wabbajack and Mod Organizer files. 9️⃣ Install Skyrim Special Edition: Creation Kit via Steam and run it at least once. 🎮 Wabbajack Installation After completing the preparations, download the latest version of Wabbajack. Do not place Wabbajack in the Program Files, Desktop, or Downloads folders. A recommended location example is: C:\Games\Wabbajack Running Wabbajack on an SSD can speed up the installation process. 📦 Installing NGVO with Wabbajack 1️⃣ Open Wabbajack. 2️⃣ Go to the Browse Modlists section. 3️⃣ Find the NGVO mod list and press the Download button. 4️⃣ Select the installation folder. Suggested example: C:\NGVO Do not install to the Desktop or Downloads folder. 5️⃣ The download folder doesn't have to be on an SSD, but using an SSD can speed up the installation. 6️⃣ Start the installation by pressing the Play button. 7️⃣ Wait until Wabbajack downloads the necessary files and completes the installation.
