Xbox Original Softmod Tutorial: VERY EASY & NOOB friendly!

In this video I will show you how to softmod your original Xbox games console using SID installer. I personally think this is the easiest, quickest and best way to softmod the Xbox. (you don't need to buy action replay) Doing this softmod allows you to play games watch videos and install emulators on the console. For people having issues with the "Msvcr71.dll is missing" then please download the zip file located here. First of all extract the file and place the DLL wherever Xplorer360 is located and then try to run Xplorer360. If this still does not work then read the readme file that came with the DLL (in the zip folder) and follow the instructions and you should be able to carry on with the softmod! https://mega.nz/#!NEsFiCYQ!V2vtRr6wJd... HOW TO BACKUP THE EEPROM: First of all make sure the usb stick is plugged into the Xbox before you turn it on. Now turn on the Xbox and go to the directory I said in the video. **File Explorer - E - UDATA - 21585554 - 000000000000 - backup** Now once you are there, press the right trigger (takes you to the right hand side section) and look for your memory stick (mine was under the letter "J" yours probably is too) press the A button on "J". Now where the two symbols are ".." press start and then select "create new folder" - Name this folder "backup". Now go into that folder. Next, press the left trigger (bringing you back into the left hand side of the file system) choose the eeprom.bin file, press start and then select "copy" and it should then copy over successfully and your eeprom will now be backed up. Simply plug the memory stick back into the computer and open it with Xplorer360 and backup the files onto your computer! :) Things you will need: A Computer Copy of one of these non platinum games: Tom Clancy's: Splinter Cell 007 Agent Under Fire Mechassualt Memory Stick 1gb or under Female USB to Xbox controller adapter UK: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PC-Computer...
