Nooses True Crime Podcast 1883 Brockton Murder Mary Jane Parmelia Snow Baker Introduction

In this episode of Nooses True Podcast 1883 Brockton Murder of Mary Jane Parmelia Snow Baker I give some background on the case and discuss what needs to be done going forward. Mary Jane Baker was murdered by her estranged husband Asa B. Baker on July 29th 1883 in Brockton MA just up the street from me. I may have even discovered the location where she was murdered but need to do some more digging. She was shot 4 times and the fatal blow came when Asa B. Baker dropped a 40 lbs boulder on her forehead and covered her with leaves. A hunter named Myron Hollis found the body a few days later. Before the end of the year Asa B. Baker plead guilty to 2nd degree murder on the day of his trial. He spent the rest of his life in prison. He spent 40 years at Bridgewater, dying in 1924 88 years old. #1883 #1883murder #brockton #brocktonmurder #maryjane #truecrimestories #podcast
