Afghan Police on Front Line
Police in Afghanistan have long been considered corrupt and unreliable. And yet police forces helping to create a secure environment are at the heart of NATO's strategy for Afghanistan. NATO has discovered its militaries are not well equipped to train police and so it has turned to the European Union and private contractors for trainers. Jennifer Glasse was recently in Afghanistan and reports on NATO's efforts to build a reliable police force.
