NM True TV - Zozobra
For what is approaching a century now Santa Feans have spent an evening each autumn putting flames to the gloom. Artist Will Shuster designed the original Zozobra, right down to creating the name, in 1924 for a private party he and friends held. “Old Man Gloom” is now the featured flaming guest at an event that kicks off Santa Fe’s Fiestas. The True TV Crew gets an up-close look at the process and the burning, and gets the inside info from someone with a family tie to this burning man.
