But Simba shows up and pulls him away from Kiara. When they grow up they meet again and fall in love. Simba doesn't want his daughter to be with a bear and tells her to stay away from him. She runs away, so does he, and they meet again at night. The next day Koda shows Kiara the sunrise, she goes for a while to see if she hunts something, when suddenly Koda sees Simba. He had followed them. Koda stands up to him but Simba did not come alone. Kovu a suitor of Kiara attacks him, Koda decides to run away. Kiara watches as Koda runs away and worries about him. He tries to save him but Kovu pounces and Koda falls off the cliff. Kiara scolds Simba and Kovu and goes to see if Koda is okay. In the end Simba accepts his daughter's relationship with Koda.
