🌅 Fajr Reflection @ ADAMS Center 📖 سُورَةُ ٱلرَّعْد | Surah ar-Raʿd (13:16–18) Reflection: In these verses, Allah calls us to reflect upon His absolute lordship and sovereignty. He asks: “Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth?” The answer is clear—Allah alone. Yet some people take protectors besides Him, despite their inability to benefit or harm even themselves. Allah then presents a powerful comparison: Can the blind and the seeing be equal? Can darkness and light be the same? Just as these opposites are clearly distinct, truth and falsehood can never be equal. The believer who recognizes Allah’s signs and guidance is like one who sees, while the one who rejects them is like one who remains in darkness. The verses conclude by praising those who respond to their Lord. They will receive the best reward from Allah. In contrast, those who turn away from His guidance will find that no worldly wealth or possession can save them from accountability on the Day of Judgment. May Allah grant us insight to recognize the truth, steadfastness in responding to His call, and admission among those who receive His best reward.
