2024 USAT Gravel Duathlon National Championships / Dirty Mitten. Can I podium?

Who's up for a 5K trail run + 29 mile gravel bike ride + 10k trail run!?! Come along with me to YMCA Camp Manitou in Middleville, Mi for the 2024 USAT Gravel Duathlon National Championships, aka The Dirty Mitten. Having competed in the USAT Duathlon Nationals in 2021 and 2022, then completing the entire Ohio Gravel Race Series in 2023, I felt uniquely qualified to take on this new multisport onion slice. My equipment was optimized and my training was on point... until I was sick with COVID a mere 10 days before the race. Will this derail my efforts on race day, or can I achieve the podium spot that alluded me in '21 and '22?
