Attending the biggest anime convention in Egypt | Egycon vlog

Hello beautiful people If I’m going to be completely honest I will have to tell yall that editing this video was very heavy on my heart because i didn’t really enjoy my time there. This also explains why this video is extremely short compared to my other videos. I’m not the type of person where it’s easy for my mood to be ruined especially if i’m at an event or place. I try my best to have fun and socialize and not let little things upset me. But i have been already on my last straw when it comes to the organizers of the event. And how they have been treating the community that made the event even possible to begin with. From talking to vendors, participants, cosplayers, regular goers i understood that i wasn’t the only one who had frustrations in regard to the event. I don’t know if my watchers here on this channel are going to be interested to see a video of me breaking down why for me personally the event hasn’t been hitting the same or how i noticed that certain things were extremely poorly organized. (Btw i know that this is a global issue when it comes to cons in general) I wanted this video to highlight the extremely talented and welcoming community that goes to events. They are the reason i liked to go to begin with. And it’s going to be very hard to lose this community especially because currently Egycon is the biggest and only anime event in the country right now (and they know this and that’s why they are very comfortable with giving us a mediocre product + they know they will get away with it because they have no competition) To the people who wanted to see me go to Egycon and for me to meet up with them. I’m so so so sorry i myself would have loved to make more friends and meet up with new people. This has been hard for me as well…. (Also this video took me FOREVER to edit because the heat wave made me unable to sit in front of my laptop for more than 10 minutes.
