Willow ✗ Tara || Fear of the Water

My entry for the second round of #thepowerofpridecontest These two are so important to me. This show was the first that really connected with me when I first watched it at a young age; these two were the first LGBT+ couple for me to see on screen and one of the most positive portrayals of us on tv at the time. It warms my heart to see how far Joss Whedon went to have us represented and for these two to kiss on daytime tv in a time where that'd be frowned upon, but also breaks it with how they were taken away from us. Regardless of their tragic end, I love these two so so much. And how one brought the better in the other and how they succumbed their relationship's shortcomings and showed that we were not only real, but embraced.
