THE DEFINITION OF INSANITY: Bills Fan Watches The Texans Annihilate Josh Allen on Thursday Night

Everything about that was just godawful and painful. Somehow our defense, once again, stepped it up in the second half -- maybe they suddenly remembered the Texans were rocking with a backup QB and a backup RB -- but the offense withered more and more as the game went on. I have never seen our offensive line flail so entirely and utterly. I wanted to blame a lot of it on Spencer Brown's mid-game injury, but on rewatch I discovered he was getting pushed around from the very first play. The Texans defense is just that good. Josh didn't even have time to throw the ball away on half his sacks. It was brutal. Add to that the fact that his most reliable wide receiver was clearly running on approximately zero sleep after his baby was born two days earlier and the whole thing was disastrous. So here we are. Joe Brady should get fired but he won't. We're just going to flail around until we, at best, crash and burn in the wild card round. It's depressing, and there doesn't seem to be any sign that anyone with any authority plans to make any changes. Let's see how things go with the Steelers.
