DDM Garage Door High Lift Kit review and installation

In this video I review and install a DDM Garage Door high lift kit. I bought a kit last summer and liked it so much I decided to do my other two doors. The video’s purpose is to share my experience installing the kit. I leave the deep how to stuff to the DDM Garage Door website and its video library. DDM Garage is an outfit in Chicago and they put out complete kits to safely and successfully install these kits in a DIY manner. The kits carry a premium price over researching and sourcing things yourself but I believe these kits are worth the investment because they are complete and come with the proper instructions and components to match your door. Their website will guide you on how to properly describe your door to get the correct kit for your application. The kit requires average mechanical skills and you must be comfortable winding a torsion spring. Job is not hard but takes some skill and a whole weekend to accomplish but the results are fantastic. I’m looking forward to install a Golf Sim where my Jeep is parked.
