The Mk.1 Tank first saw service during the Somme offensive of 1916, ushering in a new era of weapons development and seeing some success during that conflict. Seeing steady design evolution since those early days, tanks are a staple of any modern armed force. Join me on the workbench in this build and review as I complete the Airfix WW1 Male Tank Mk.I plastic model kit (A01315V) from the Vintage Classics range. In this particular project I complete the model in a "back to basics" style - focusing on simpler tools and techniques to finish the build in a similar way that I would have done in my youth.
