SENTIERO VARIANTE 1 a Castegnero: uno dei più bei percorsi nei Colli Berici

Episode 167 Castegnero, in the province of Vicenza, is home to one of the most beautiful trails in the Berici Hills, in my opinion. It's not very well marked, but it's still worth wandering through the woods. I left my car in the large church parking lot and headed toward the splendid walled cave, a magical and evocative spot from which you can feel the full power of this land. Then, climbing Mount Rose, I reach the Sermondi Oratory, built in the late 1700s. I continue along a comfortable road to a farm, and after greeting some vain goats, I arrive at an old farmhouse called Ca' Gasperi. From there, I descend back to the village along a paved but still scenic and panoramic road, completing a loop of about ten kilometers, truly delightful and absolutely beautiful. #outdoor #trekking #excursions #hiking #colliberici
