Today's "vatniks" have either grown older or, on the contrary, become much younger. They are now 30-year-olds with the latest iPhones, perfectly keratin-straightened hair, and fashionable clothes. But beneath that polished appearance lies the same harsh Soviet totalitarian mindset, ready to destroy anyone who thinks differently. In this video, I share a true story about my neighbor. At first glance, she seemed like a perfectly ordinary, modern young woman. But her true nature revealed itself very quickly: from everyday rudeness, insulting me by calling me "old and fat," and swearing at her own child, to committing what I consider a real crime against humanity. She reported me to the police. Why? Simply because I openly support Ukraine and European democratic values. What makes these people dangerous is that they blend seamlessly into civilized society. They enjoy all the benefits of democracy and modern technology while remaining loyal informants who help sustain a repressive system.
