DESCRIPTION: After 61 days on the Pacific Crest Trail, Neon officially reached a huge milestone: 1,000 miles completed on his journey from Mexico to Canada! Today’s 19.5-mile hike took him past the stunning Dorothy Lake and over Dorothy Lake Pass as he continued north through California. The views were incredible, but the biggest reward is still ahead. Tomorrow, Neon will reunite with Lori, his oldest daughter, five grandchildren, and his son-in-law Gus, who is joining him for a section of the trail. After more than two months of hiking, it’s a reunion he’s been looking forward to for weeks. Can Neon make it all the way to Canada?
