Why did WWE finally give up on Matt Riddle? Riddle was fired from WWE in September 2023 after being touted as the future of wrestling. The former UFC fighter had been incredible in NXT and had a hot start on the main WWE roster. Riddle and Randy Orton as a tag team were one of the best things on the show, and RKBRO were WWE tag team champions at one point.
