Moving from the UK to Malaysia for Hijrah

Flying from the Uk to Malaysia for Hijrah was honestly the most stressful set of flights I have ever taken, for both me and my husband. But we knew going into this that Hijrah wouldn’t be easy. But as the Quran says, with hardship comes ease. We had to surrender 3 cases, misplaced our passports. lost another one nearly missed our flight, got stopped by every security and booked our taxi too late so had to wait in the airport for over an hour before going to our air BnB but alhamdulilah we got there. We’ve now been in Malaysia for a month. We’ve faced some challenges but the rewards far outweigh every one. Being able to easily find halal food, pray everywhere we go, hear the adhan being called. Are just a few of the many benefits of being here we’ve felt alhamdulilah. But the biggest is that not once have we been scrutinised, treated negatively or had a bad experience because we are Muslim. We are proud of our faith, but back in the uk it was also a source of safety concerns for our family, and with two young children I am so so grateful that Allah made Hijrah possible so that we can show our children a different life. We pray that Allah allows us to stay here and invites more to make Hijrah to the country of their choosing.
