Professor Henri Subiakto, a professor at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Airlangga University, emphasized that diplomas are not electronic information but rather special physical documents printed to strict standards. He stated that diplomas have sealed paper, official logos, and special markings that make them difficult to counterfeit. He emphasized that each university has its own unique technical characteristics for graduation documents. Prof. Henri then explained his experience as Deputy Director of Airlangga University Press from 1997 to the early 2000s. One of his duties was printing diplomas, thus understanding the technical process of producing these documents. Each graduation period, the university produces the same type of diploma for all faculties, both May and December graduations. He explained that the printing process uses film, which is then transferred to a plate for mass production. All diplomas in a period are printed from the same plate, ensuring a uniform shape and appearance. The only differences are the faculty names for each student, while all other key elements remain identical and possess their own security features.
