This Backyard Was Abandoned for 20 Years. I Brought It Back to Life

Twenty years of nobody caring will turn a backyard into a jungle. Brambles to my waist, a drainage problem that explained everything — and buried under all of it, an original stone patio somebody laid by hand a lifetime ago. I cleared her out, fixed what drove everyone away, and saved the tree they all told me to cut down. Last photo is a family dinner under that tree. Everyone said tear it down. I didn't listen.
