A Walk Along Pattaya Beach, Thailand

In this video, I'll take a stroll along Pattaya Beach and the boardwalk. I'll also take a walk through Central Pattaya mall and go grocery shopping. I visited Pattaya during the low season so there weren't many people around. The beach was pretty deserted. It was also a hot and windy day. Not the best beach day. Pattaya doesn't have the nicest beach but it does have a beach. It's not really beautiful like the beaches you would find in Southern Thailand. It is a wide, sandy beach that stretches about 1.6 miles or 2.7 km. It's a decent place to sit and have a drink or take a stroll. There are plenty of nice bars and restaurants across the road. The water here is a bit polluted and there is some trash on the beach but it's not too bad. I wouldn't really want to swim in it but people do. There are some designated swimming areas. You can also rent jet skis and other watercraft. If you want to swim and have a beach day, there are nicer beaches to the South in Jomtien. You could also take a boat out to Koh Larn (Coral Island) for some better beaches. If you're in Bangkok and you want to go to the beach for a couple of days, Pattaya is the most convenient option. You can get there in a couple of hours by bus. You could also take a taxi or even a train. It's a really convenient place to visit. I took the bus from Bangkok to Pattaya. I caught a bus at Ekkamai station on Sukhumvit Road. The ticket cost 131 baht. The ride takes about 2.5 hours. It's an easy trip to make for a weekend getaway. Pattaya beach is more exciting at night. The boardwalk becomes much more active. There are hundreds of people laying out on the beach. The bars across the street play loud music.
