Khosung Ringkho(Village Life)

Khosung Ringkho’, meaning ‘Village Life’, is a Chiru tribal folk fusion song written by me during my short stay in my hometown in 2020 during the pandemic. Having witnessed the struggles the villagers had gone through, I got the inspiration to address the issue through a song. I also felt the need that I should do something for my people first and then for the world at large. The song depicts typical Indian villages who are caught up in a vicious cycle which is so difficult to break, and they need help from the government to encourage start-ups, innovation, small infrastructure, health and education, critical thinking etc. I hope whoever listens to this song will find meaning and realization that development in rural areas matters to building a strong nation.
