ਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਸਾਡੀ ਨਰਸਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੂਟਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਾਂਭ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਨਰਸਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਦਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਣਾਦਾਇਕ ਹੈ। ਬਹੁਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਨਰਸਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਸ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪੈਸੇ ਕਮਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਏ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਉਸਦੀ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਲ ਬਦਲਾਵ ਓਦੋਂ ਆਇਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜਨੂੰਨ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ। ਅੱਜ ਮਾਂ ਦਿਵਸ ‘ਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਆਓ ਜਾਣੀਏ ਕਿ ਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਇਸ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਜ਼ ਕੰਮ ਨਾ ਜਾਣ ਕਿ ਨਰਸਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਰ ਬੂਟੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਰੋਲ ਨਿਭਾਉਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ। 2018 ਤੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਰਾਸਤੀ ਰੁੱਖ ਲਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਅਸੀਂ 30 ਲੱਖ ਬੂਟੇ ਲਗਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਬੂਟੇ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਨਰਸਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। Are you curious to learn more about The Billion Tree Project and how communities across Punjab are helping us take this mission to new heights? Since 2018, we’ve been planting native trees across Punjab’s villages, and we’re proud to share that we've planted over 3 million trees to date — with an impressive 90% survival rate, thanks to meticulous aftercare and nurturing saplings in our nurseries. Each of these trees was grown in our village nurseries located in Lang, Hathoa, Bir Behman, and Ghagga — rooted in community effort and sustainability.
