Asøno Invites welcomes Sam Connor, an Aberdeen-based artist delivering emotional, cinematic Schranz inspired by old school influences and modern underground energy. Originally inspired by the work of Hans Zimmer and Christopher Nolan, Sam's passion for creating atmosphere and emotion naturally evolved into the world of Schranz through artists such as Klangkuenstler. His sets are built around identity, structure, tension and release, creating an immersive journey from beginning to end. Founder of SEVERANCE, with an upcoming release on his own label, Sam has also held a residency with HASI Sessions in Aberdeen, previously lived and held a residency in Berlin, and has recently appeared at events including PRTY and Cultivate Festival.
