Billy Corgan | Signature Yamaha LJ16BC
Billy Corgan and The Smashing Pumpkins are the voice of a generation. We are thrilled to be able to team up with Billy to create the LJ16BC, a limited edition model based on the handcrafted LJ16 A.R.E. that he has trusted for years, both as a solo artist and in The Smashing Pumpkins. A few sonic and aesthetic changes were made during design at Mr. Corgan’s request - brass bridge pins, TUSQ nut and saddle, GOTOH open–gear tuners, a unique “Zero” head stock logo and a vintage natural finish with no pickguard. We interviewed Billy at the legendary Chicago Recording Company, where many of his classic songs were tracked, to discuss his intentions for the guitar and what he hopes guitarists take away from it. Find out more about the LJ16BC here: https://goo.gl/xd2KdT This limited edition will be available worldwide from September, check with your local Yamaha dealer for exact dates.
