United Airlines danas, 1. svibnja 2026., ispisuje povijest kao prva zrakoplovna kompanija u povijesti Zračne Luke Split koja uspostavlja prvu direktnu liniju Splita i SAD-a. Rutu iz Međunarodne Zračne Luke Newark Liberty opsluživat će Boeing 767-300ER tri puta tjedno. Očekuje se da će nova linija biti u funkciji do početka rujna 2026. United Airlines makes history today on the 1st of May 2026 as the first airline in the history of Split Airport to operate a transatlantic flight service from USA to Split, Croatia. The route from Newark Liberty International Airport will be served by a Boeing 767-300ER three times a week. The new service is expected to operate until early September 2026.
