Because codes can vary in different areas, I'd recommend consulting a licensed electrician in your area if you're faced with the same issue. ********** In this video, I'm sharing how we made our kids a DIY built-in bunk bed. This adorable bunk bed makes bedtime truly magical (pretty sure I'm living vicariously through my kiddos). As always, the step-by-step project plans are available on my website, along with more photos and details. This DIY bunk bed project might look complicated, but it's not! The design is simple yet smart - we're using 2x4 stud lumber and tongue-and-groove boards that "wrap" around the framework. You could build this bunk bed in just a few weekends!
