Breakdown Nightmare! Forced to Abandon My Campsite

My car breaks down on the way to the store and I'm trapped hours away from my campsite and my camper! My car died on a Saturday evening on the way to the store. I called AAA from the side of the road and asked to be towed to the nearest Honda dealership for repair which turned out to be Stockton, CA. I planned on staying one night in a nearby hotel and renting a car on Sunday morning, however, there were no rental car places open on Sunday. I ended up being trapped in a mediocre hotel for two nights worrying about whether my car or campsite might be ransacked. I got my car back in the late afternoon Monday. My alternator and battery were replaced. I was peeved at the $185 diagnostic fee which did not go towards the repair. I drove the two hours back to my campsite after having been gone for 52 hours. I'm Bex and I live full-time in my tiny RV camper. I make home movies about camping, hiking, tiny living, solar and power generation and everything to do with RV life.
