Apple's FIRST Studio Display - A Love Letter & Repair - iiiDIY

Today we look at the first two versions of the display, and fix a couple screens along the way! The 15" Studio was their first desktop LCD panel, but it came out swinging with lot of practical features and a gorgeous late-90s sci-fi aesthetic. It was revised shortly afterward to unify the design with their PowerMac G3 and iMac products, cementing the candy-coated Y2K futurism look. I've been a big fan from the start, so wanted to make a video that's a little different today - part history & love-letter, part repair and restoration. I hope you like it!
