Experimental F1N Glider - Build And Maiden Flight!

Hey guys! This video shows images documenting the build process of my newest F1N Glider, and footage of the first few test-tosses in a small indoor space. The aircraft was an experiment to test the potential advantages of OS film covering on an indoor glider. The weight savings are significant; the final product was 2.58 grams, whereas most foam-flapped aircraft would be at least 3. However, I was skeptical as to the mechanical viability of a built-up flap, which was one of the things I meant thus experiment to test. The flaps actually seemed quite stiff, on account of the curved shape of the leading edge. All in all, this experiment was a success! If you enjoyed the video, a like us always appreciated!
