Adventure motorcycle riding in the Dubai sand dunes on my BMW R1200GS. Join me on this mesmerizing ride through a dune field. I'll share with you some of the thinking and planning that goes into making each move, as the sand's ever-shifting terrain puts my body positioning and counterbalancing skills to the ultimate test. Throughout the ride, you'll discover that momentum is the key to successfully riding the dunes, and speed takes a backseat. I'll show you how I use the throttle aggressively when needed, to lift the bike on top of the sand to get underway. Other times, I'll demonstrate the art of relaxing and maintaining a steady pace to keep the momentum going. Experience plays a significant role in knowing when to push the bike and when to take it easy. I have been riding out in these dunes for several years and am still learning how to improve on each ride. Depending on your skill level, you may want to make the courses larger to feel more comfortable while you develop these skills.
