Making a Wicked Victorian Petticoat (Pink & Green!) + The Wizard of Oz Inspired Suit Begins

Welcome back to Part 2 of my Wicked inspired Victorian costume build! In this episode, the Emerald City prep continues as I split my time between more yards of tulle ruffles and some sharp historical tailoring. First up, I am finally finishing the ultimate pink & green petticoat! This frothy, voluminous layer is essential for getting that perfect Victorian silhouette, and bringing the Glinda and Elphaba colour story into the undergarments was so much fun. Then, the focus shifts to making the Wizard of Oz inspired suit toile for Mr BLC. I'm drafting a Victorian-era suit for my husband, and today is all about fitting the frock coat and waistcoat, adjusting the mockup, and making sure the tailoring is locked in before cutting into the fashion fabric.
