Il canto della gente, per la gente | Madamè | TEDxCuneo
Le Madamè is a musical group composed of four women who offer a journey through Italian folk music, through the eyes of women of yesterday and today who unite through music, storytelling, sweetness, and energy. Le Madamè is a musical group composed of four women who sing with four voices, accompanying themselves on accordions, guitar, and percussion. Their music offers the audience a true journey through Italian folk music, immersing them in its origins with authentic relevance, through the eyes of women of yesterday and today who unite through music, storytelling, sweetness, and energy. The repertoire is drawn from the culture of folk music: through research and arrangements of selected pieces, Le Madamè bring to light traditional songs from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, work songs, songs about women and bandits, songs of love, hope, and participation. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
