Înmormântarea Înaltpreasfinţitului Părinte Pimen, la Mănăstirea Sihăstria Putnei

Before reaching Sihăstria Putnei, the car carrying the coffin with Pimen's body stopped for the last time at Putna Monastery, where the great ruler Stephen the Great sleeps his eternal sleep, whom the high prelate appreciated and gave as an example every time this area was mentioned. When the funeral procession arrived, there were already several hundred people in the courtyard of Sihăstria Putnei Monastery, who were insistently asked by the clergy representatives to maintain social distance. After a short service in front of the main church in the monastery courtyard, the coffin was taken to the grave, and then, shortly before 5:00 p.m., the body of His Holiness Pimen was covered with the soil of Bukovina, which he loved and where he wanted to stay forever.
