Sistema de archivos para servidores NAS y elección del mejor RAID

We continue with the previous video, and now that we know the characteristics of each RAID, let's look at which file system for NAS servers and how to choose the best RAID. On a NAS server, we can choose between several file systems depending on the brand of the device. Ext4 is common to all NAS operating systems since they all run Linux inside. QNAP also offers ZFS (called Hero) on certain models, and Synology or Asustor have opted for Btrfs. Ext4, ZFS, or Btrfs each have their advantages and disadvantages, and I explain them in this video. Once you've chosen the file system, you'll need to choose the most appropriate RAID based on the number of bays on your NAS and the intended use. I also explain whether it's better to choose RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, or 10 depending on the server's bays. Finally, I dedicate some time to RAID enclosures. They are a type of enclosure that can house multiple drives and build a RAID with them. This is known as DAS (direct attached storage). Post: https://naseros.com/2020/05/01/file-s...
