WHAT is banana powder and WHY should I use it?

Have you ever heard of the old school banana powder? Maybe you're wondering what is banana powder? Well, banana powder has been around since the 1960’s when famous makeup artist Ben Nye introduced it to the makeup world. There are a lot of companies making similar powders with a yellow tint but a lot of people are curious as to why they should wear it and what does it do exactly?? A setting powder in general is helpful to knock off shine and set liquid makeup in place, but the iconic banana powder goes a step further for the complexion. One example that I discuss in this video is that banana powder helps brighten up dark circles under the eyes. Think about it. Yellow is a perfect compliment to purple.
